THE LODGE

An inner sense of wellbeing comes naturally amidst the serene surroundings of The Killary Lodge, within the raw beauty of Connemara. Overlooking Killary Fjord, the lodge frames some of the most dramatic scenery in Ireland. From the northern shore of Killary Harbour rises Mweelrea, the highest mountain in Connacht. To the south, there is the imposing panorama of the Maumturk Mountains and the Twelve Bens.

Offering a true escape away from reality, at The Killary Lodge the sounds of traffic are replaced by bird song and the rustle of ancient trees. Instead of crowds, there is a vast array of bird and wildlife including barnacle goose, mallard duck, mute swan, seals, otters and dolphins.
