Kim - Family Reunion 2024

Our stay at the Killary Lodge was just perfect. Exactly what our large family reunion needed. Individual private sleeping places with large group gathering spots, and little nooks to escape from the big crowd-for those smaller family chats. Such a unique space and interesting space. The area surrounding the lodge is just stunningly beautiful with lots of hiking spots - keep an eye out for the Viking shipwreck ;) - right out the back door. We spent many hours around the outdoor fireplace catching up. We did cater in dinner 2 nights through the Misunderstood Heron foodtruck (just up the road)and they brought amazing, yummy food-and lots of it! We would love to return someday!

Killary Lodge is an absolutely stunning location. I hire retreat centres all over the world and this is one of the most beautiful. From the location to the lodge itself, to the facilities to the surrounding hikes, my group swam, hiked, sang and connected deeply to one-another. Killary Lodge is a magical spot, cannot recommend it enough. We and our clients thoroughly enjoyed the Lodge. One of the highlights was definitely the sauna and Fjord dip. The Misunderstood Heron provided our food and it was outstanding.

The kitchen is very well designed for large numbers, accessibility is fantastic throughout, rooms were very comfortable with good sound proofing and the fire pit was a nice touch. The ultimate adventure retreat venue! Perfect for a corporate event or a friend's reunion.
I organized a 3-day adventure trip with a group of 12 people. The Killary Lodge team assisted me in planning hiking, kayaking, survival skill and other leisure activities, including live traditional Irish music and dancing. The result was a great success. We truly enjoyed the experience.
Killary Lodge is in a spectacular fjord. The lodge has been designed to really create a special feeling for the guest. The rooms are pretty and very clean. The nature around the lodge is breathtaking. The adventure centre and guides are well-equipped and knowledgeable. The catering service "Misunderstood Heron" was excellent and we enjoyed all meals. The large common kitchen helps create a feeling of community among the guests. The lodge has also some large and comfortable relaxation / fun rooms, which we enjoyed during our stay.
Finally, Ciara and the Killary Lodge team went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay and I couldn't thank them more. I very much look forward to the next opportunity to organize an event at Killary Lodge.

This was our second family stay at Killary Lodge. 17 people from six years old to seventy-five years old. We love having a dedicated space where we can be together, yet spacious enough that everyone can have their own space. We enjoyed the trails around the property, swam in the fjord, relaxed in the sauna and rang in the New Year at the fire-pit! Another successful trip at Killary Lodge. We will be back.
