Westport Train Station Return Bus Transfer

We offer a convenient Westport Train Station Bus Transfer service for campers attending Killary Adventure Centre, ensuring a smooth transition to and from camp. This service is available as a return transfer for 7-day campers or a one-way Sunday arrival transfer for 5-day campers.

Sunday Evening Arrival:

For campers arriving on Sunday evening, we provide a pick-up service from Westport Train Station at 17:10, timed to meet the train leaving from Dublin Heuston at 13:40. Campers will be greeted by a member of the Killary Adventure Company staff and transported by minibus to the camp. Please note that children remain the responsibility of their parents/guardians during the train journey until they board the Killary transfer bus.

Sunday Morning Departure (7-Day Camps Only):

For those attending our 7-day camps, campers will be dropped off at Westport Train Station on Sunday morning for the 13:30 train departure to Dublin Heuston (arriving at 16:42). Our staff will ensure the campers safely board the train. Once the train departs, children are again the responsibility of their parents/guardians.

Important Information for 5-Day Campers:

For 5-day campers who book the one-way Sunday arrival transfer, parents or guardians must arrange to collect their child from Killary Adventure Centre on the day of departure. The bus transfer does not include a return journey.

Key Details:

  • Train tickets are not included in the transfer service. Parents/guardians must purchase tickets in advance.
  • Children must be competent and capable of traveling independently on the train.
  • The Westport transfer service can be added during booking or up to 2 weeks before the camp starts.
