FAQs

No, students will be fully supervised by instructors. It is recommended that at least one teacher/group leader stays nearby or on-site in case any issues arise.

We recommend that room allocations are decided by teachers and group leaders and sent to us in advance of arrival.

All meals are included in residential packages for schools & youth groups. For school day trips, you can bring your own lunch or pre-book our great value lunch, which includes a choice of fresh sandwiches, soup, fruit and a drink, served in our dining room at Killary Adventure Centre.

Read our What to Bring Checklist for more information. We provide all safety equipment and gear. We recommend that children do not bring any valuables with them. Children are responsible for keeping their own possessions safe and must make sure they take everything with them on departure. We recommend that each child brings a list of their possessions to help with this.

Our Mobile Phone Policy is designed to give kids a break from technology. Phones/tablets are safely stored by our staff and returned for use between 5.45pm and 7pm every evening. Mobile phones can only be brought to activity sessions if they are used as medical device or for other essential reasons which must be agreed in advance.
