Our environment

We strongly believe that we have a duty to protect this magnificent landscape and we try to incorporate sustainable environmental practices and green initiatives into everything that we do. 

Our onsite wind turbine creates electricity which helps to power our buildings and our biomass boiler provides heating and hot water, using logs sourced in our local forest. We have an onsite recycling centre and all our kitchen waste is turned into compost for use in our polytunnel.
