Maintenance Assistant
THE ROLE
We are looking for a practical, hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Killary Adventure Company. This is a varied role working across our 180-acre site, which includes accommodation buildings, activity areas and event infrastructure. You will be part of a small maintenance team responsible for keeping everything running smoothly through a busy and growing operation. At peak season we have over 200 guests and 70 staff onsite, so the role is fast paced and requires someone reliable who can solve problems quickly and take pride in their work.
RESPONSIBILITIES

General maintenance and repair across buildings and facilities

Painting, tiling and general upkeep

Basic plumbing and electrical repairs

Maintenance of machinery and equipment

Grounds maintenance and outdoor work

Supporting water and waste systems onsite

Identifying issues early and resolving them efficiently

Working from daily task lists set by the maintenance team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

Full clean driving licence

Experience in building, trades or general maintenance

Strong practical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work as part of a team and independently

Reliable, organised and proactive
DESIRABLE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Experience with tractors or machinery
- Knowledge of water or waste systems
- Electrical or plumbing experience
- Training can be provided in specific areas.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:30, daily with some flexibility
