Sunset Boat Trip & Fishing on Killary Fjord

Meet your instructor at the Killary Adventure Water Site and get kitted out in all the necessary gear. The boat will bring you out onto the waters of Killary Harbour where you will hear some of the history of the area and see the different branches of aquaculture on the fjord. There is even time for a swim if you are up for it.

Try your hand at fishing for mackerel or pollock which are found in the waters of the fjord in July and August following in the small sprat. If you are very lucky, you may even see the dolphins fishing. Then watch the spectacular sunset over the fjord. There is nothing like it.  

Please be aware that you will be on the water and off-site for two hours. Small children will need to be wrapped up warm.
