A speedboat transfer from Killary to Rosroe to walk the Famine Trail. This is a one-way transfer where you get dropped off at the Rosroe starting point and walk back to Killary via the Famine Trail Walk on the shore of the fjord. During your boat transfer, you will pass working mussel boats and mussel farm lines and you may even be lucky enough to see some fjord natives...the dolphins!

The Famine Trail follows the contours of the Killary Fjord, passing old cottages and abandoned 'lazy beds' and is a great way to take in the unrivalled beauty of the area. The trail is approximately 10km from Rosroe to Killary and should take 2 to 3 hours to walk. Some sections of the trail are rough and uneven and may not be suitable for young children or those with limited mobility.
Free private parking is available at Killary Adventure Centre.
