Bushcraft & Survival Skills

Meet your instructor at the Killary Adventure Activity Site and get kitted out in all the necessary gear. Head out to our bushcraft site where your instructor will introduce the core skills of bushcraft. You’ll learn about natural navigation, foraging, tracking and identifying animals in the wild, construction of shelters and fire lighting using natural resources.

Using your newfound knowledge and skills, you will build a shelter, light a fire and cook tasty bread to eat around the campfire. A fantastic way to interact with nature and a chance to slow down, relax and unwind in this stunning corner of Connemara.
