The expedition leader of the highly successful Killary North of Disco 2013 expedition from Galway to Greenland, Jamie Young, will announce details of his proposed return to Greenland in 2015.

The launch of North of Disko II: 2015 Expedition to Greenland will be held in the Copper House Gallery in Dublin from 6pm - 9pm on Tuesday 16th December. The gallery is located off Synge St in Dublin 8 and everyone is invited to hear Jamie speak.

The 2015 voyage would include Ice Kites II which would involve ice buggies being used to circumnavigate Greenland and also a  two-wheel drive motorbike being used to access the ice cap.

Daragh Muldowney who took part in the first expedition and from it produced a book and exhibition entitled Out of Thin Air is set to return with Jamie and this time to photograph the Arctic from beneath the water. Darragh's photos are exhibiting at present in the Copper House Gallery. This time his work will be called Into the Blue.

Jamie is the co-founder of Killary Adventure Company and Gaelforce Events along with his wife Mary. He is also a seasoned adventurer who has taken part in many expeditions including the South Aris Expedition -  a re-enactment of Shackleton's famous journey in the Antartic.

Everyone is welcome to the Copper House Gallery on Tuesday 16th December for an inspirational and thought-provoking night.
